By joining or participating in the Nocturne.build program ("Nocturne"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Any dispute arising from participation in the Nocturne program will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with French law. Jurisdiction shall be exclusively vested in the competent courts of France.
Nocturne.build is a free program designed to help builders, creators, and indie founders turn their ideas into real, publicly-shared projects. The program is operated by Nocturne Games SAS, a French company based in 38 RUE DE BERRI, 75008 PARIS.
By applying and being accepted into a Nocturne batch, you gain access to:
A curated online community of builders
Weekly themes and guidance to help structure your project
Optional mentorship content and recorded interviews
Exposure through Nocturne's communication channels
Potential access to support programs and partnerships
This program is free, and we do not ask for any payment from participants. Nocturne reserves the right to exclude any participant from the program at any time, for any reason, without obligation to justify its decision. Similarly, any participant is free to leave the program at any time with no obligations or liabilities toward Nocturne.
By joining, you agree to:
Engage with the community in good faith
Respect other members and their work
Share your progress publicly when possible (Build in Public is part of the spirit)
Not spam, harass, or promote unrelated products or services
Participation is not binding — you can leave at any time. But we encourage you to stay involved to benefit from the collective momentum.
You retain 100% ownership of your project, your content, and your ideas. By participating in Nocturne, you grant us the right to reference your project in our communications (e.g. social media, newsletter, community updates), always with credit and in a respectful way.
We'll never share private materials without your consent. We define "private" as content explicitly sent in a private context (e.g., direct messages or emails to the team). Any content shared in public-facing spaces within the program may be publicly relayed or highlighted as part of Nocturne's communication.
Nocturne is a space for collaboration and encouragement. We have zero tolerance for:
Discrimination, hate speech, or harassment
Plagiarism or misappropriation of others' work
Malicious or disruptive behavior
Violations may result in removal from the program.
We respect your data. We don't sell personal information. Some third-party tools may collect limited data to operate the service. We use this information only to run the program effectively. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Nocturne provides its program on an "as-is" basis. We make no guarantees about results, success, or outcomes. We are not responsible for any losses arising from participation in the program, including but not limited to lost revenue, damages, or reputational harm.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
